About

Hello there and welcome to The Dragon’s Tea Party!

This blog is a collection of my ramblings and opinions about life as a video gamer with the occasional rant, gaming event and cosplay post thrown in – stuff you might chat about if you were at a video game themed tea party, for example. If you like reading about things such as irrational fears of in-game water levels, being a dick in multiplayer gaming, and the frustration of dying over and over again in Bloodborne (and let’s be honest, why wouldn’t you?) then this is the blog for you.

The name ‘The Dragon’s Tea Party’ was inspired my love of drinking tea with some biscuits and/or cake while playing video games, sometimes alone, sometimes with other gaming friends, making my gaming sessions a tea party of sorts. The majority of my favourite games (Dragon Age, Neverwinter Nights, Skyrim…) include dragons so I got to thinking what it would be like if dragons were to have a tea party, as you do, and the thought of them holding delicate china tea cups was just so awesome that voilà, my blog was born.

I was raised as a PC and Nintendo gamer primarily with a diverse range of 90’s RPGs, action adventure and the classic Nintendo games of Pokémon and Legend of Zelda. Since then I’ve broadened my horizons to include other types of games and I’m now the proud owner of a Playstation 4, my pride and joy.

If you have any questions, games to recommend, or just fancy a chat about video games in general then please don’t hesitate to get in touch! Send me a message through my Contact page!
