If you’ve been reading my blog for a while then you will know that this is going to be RPG. I love the freedom you get in RPGs from the character creation to the alternative endings, it makes me feel more like I am part of the game rather than just playing a game (if that makes sense).
Same here! RPGs and puzzle games are my favorite with platformers a respectable third.

Weirdly I’m not very good at platformers, I struggle with them quite a bit, I’m not sure why! Puzzle games are definitely up there too!

I was much better at platformers in the past. SMB2, 3, and World are some of my favorite games, and I even like some of the more obscure ones like this game called Klonoa 2, but I was just awful at the New Mario for the DS. The ledges in the game seemed more “slippery,” but I’m pretty sure it was more my lack of skill lol.

My other half loves the Klonoa games! He got me to play the first one a bit and I liked it but I was terrible at it.
I have super Mario maker and super Mario bros on my DS and I did think the ledges were slippery actually but I thought that was part if it as I hadn’t played them properly before.

They seemed much more slippery than I remembered the other Mario games being. It was like they used the same dynamics of the ice levels on the regular ones. Mario needs to better treads on his shoes lol.
I’m curious about the first one now. I’ve only ever played Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil. I really love the music in it. There’s this one song called Cursed Leorina that’s pretty epic.

The first one was very cute, I only played it for a couple of hours though because I kept dying and rage quit lol
